Lowry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our Quality Assurance Review Team

 

The main duties of this role are to:

  • Verify that each audit addresses the Lowry, state and client specific requirements
  • Manage the review of Carriers work
  • Coordinate any back up assistance needed while meeting specific production requirements
  • Coordinate with and support Senior FSM and Director
  • Other duties as assigned

 

To be considered for this position you will need the following experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of NCCI and WCIRB rules and LAI guidelines
  • Experience with Nexus
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Docs and PPTX

Preferred Experience/Certifications/Designations:

  • WCIRB CompEssential Certification
  • APA Designation
  • Experience with PAAS and the WCRIB web site
  • Five years of Premium Audit experience

Insurance Loss Control Surveyor – Kingman, AZ

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Loss Control Surveyor for Kennewick, WA , and surrounding areas. A Surveyor for us will have a strong sense of self-motivation, organization and time management skills, and the ability to work independently from home. We are seeking a contractor that already has work in the area and is looking to add work.

The ideal Loss Control Surveyor would possess the following qualifications:

General Work Experience:

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to superior service
  • Strong sense of self-motivation and self-discipline
  • Superior organizational, time management and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present to both technical and non-technical audiences; interacts tactfully and effectively in difficult situations
  • Represent Lowry & Associates when on job sites in a positive and professional manner
  • Able to adjust to new situations and changing priorities
  • Develops a high degree of trust through demonstrated personal integrity and ethical behavior

Specific Work Experience:

  • Conducts loss control inspections at business sites to understand the overall risk for the underwriter to make a decision on the policy
  • Remains informed of changes and current information relative to individual loss control inspections
  • Experience with Loss Control Inspection software is preferred

Equipment:

  • Computer: preferably laptop, with high speed internet access (Microsoft Windows operating system, or Mac with a Windows virtual machine installed.)
  • Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required for travel to business sites

  • Cell phone

Role of Loss Control Surveyor:

  • Schedule appointments
  • Visit insured’s location
  • Conduct onsite interview with the insured
  • Survey/inspect the location
  • Identity hazards
  • Take digital photos
  • Make any improvement recommendations
  • Measure and calculate square footage
  • Deliver a thorough online report after the visit
